Printing methods on scarf

Depending on your order requirements, scarves may be printed via our traditional hand screen printing method, or our state-of-the-art digital textile printer.

What is digital printing scarf?

Digital printing on silk is a method of creating beautifully patterned piece of silks.

With digital printing, there are almost no limits to designs or colors , whether it is hand-painted artwork or digital designs, you are free to take your custom scarf design all the way from your creative artwork to the finished scarves .It is one of the most favorite printing methods for manufacturers and artists to bring their designs to life.

What is screen printing scarf?

Screen printing is a more traditional method of producing printed silks, compared to digital printing, it has over hundreds years producing histroy in China ,also loved by many big fashion brands , like hermes ，chanel,LV,...

before printing , workers need to make the sreen pattern ,one color one pattern,then print each design by hand ,it requires every worker a high level of skill and expertise to be executed correctly,

While it’s a much slower and more meticulous way of printing,the vibrant colour output of screen printing makes it the perfect technique for those looking to print bright, bold designs on to darker coloured fabrics.

Creating your design

Here are some handy tips for creating your artwork:

• Create your designs in Adobe Photoshop, with a resolution of 300 dpi minimum

• Ensure that your designs don’t have any obvious joint lines

• Consider any borders you wish to add and include them within your specified dimensions

• Allow for hemming around the edges

Sample making

We strongly advise that you do sample prints of your artwork before any bulk orders are needed. This step is ideal to test colours and outcomes of your digital files on the fabrics of your choice. Once you have approved the outcome, larger orders can be placed with confidence.

Scarf fabric choices

The key to creating the most beautiful silk scarf is choosing the right fabric.

We have an extensive range of silks to choose from, including silk satin , silk twill , silk CDC , silk georgette , silk habotai , silk chiffon ,silk paj etc .

if you prefer a more matte fabric, we recommend our crepe de chine or silk twill. We suggest you to opt for twill if you like a more textural or prominent weave.

If you prefer something that has more of a sheen, we recommend our silk satin fabric.

If you are looking for some items for autumn and winter season, our wool modal works well for larger scarves.

We offer a fully bespoke digital scarf printing and manufacturing service so we can manufacture printed scarves according to your chosen dimensions.

We currently offer a hand roll, baby machine hem, or frayed edge for wool scarves.

What is your delivery time for the scarf making ?

We have a very fast turnaround with the digital printing , two or three weeks for the machine heming, one more week for the hand rolling edge, we can push if you have urgently delivery request .

Can you return the sample cost ?

1.full piece scarf for shooting or sale , our sample cost is double unit price
or return one piece sample cost when you confirmed the order .
(if your order over 50pcs per design ,we can return full sample cost for you )
2.full piece scarf for pp sample , our sample cost is the same as the bulk production cost , 
3.color swatches , for free the pp sample but charged if order is not confirmed .
